Reckon we will get through the group, win our R16 against one of the above and then from the QF's onwards it's anyone, so I am saying QF

IF things go according to seeding/reputation/some kind of footballing logic then I think we'd end up with either Brazil or Germany in the Quarters.

I think that's probably as far as we can expect to get considering their squads. Having said that, I'd still fancy us cause a bit of an upset and beat any side on their day IF we're on a good run of form (which is possibly unlikely!).

I think he meant that if we win the group we'd play Brazil in the 1/4s and then Germany in the final. I was just putting Brazil and Germany out there as out two 'likely' quarter final opponents depending on where we finished in the group (apart from 3rd or 4th!).

As for the group, the only way i can't see us winning the group is it the Belgium game is a dead rubber and he changes the whole side, as both may do, and then it could go either way. We aren't worse than Belgium. Biggest hype jobs in the tournament for me (Belgium that is)

QF - we should get past anything in Group H even if we finish second in our group.

We'll get a first tier nation in the quarters though and as we are pretty much second tier now that will be that.
