RFC Tie

by Garry Baldy » 22 Jan 2020 13:26

Clearing out some old stuff and came across an old RFC tie with the Elm tree club badge on. I realise nobody wears ties these days but thought somebody might like it to add to a memorabilia collection perhaps. No charge, just put a pound or two in a charity box.

Hi Garry, nice username. great 10th post btw, in just 14 years too. Quality, not quantity. Other posters should take a leaf out of your book.

Would be interested if this is still available. Often have to suit and boot it for rotary club shindigs.

Sorry Del, the tie has already been claimed by a fellow Nobber. I apologise for not having posted this earlier.

No problem at all Garry. And no need to apologise - quite understandable a novelty tie is not top of your list of priorities at the moment.

Garry - you're a gentleman and a scholar. No need to apologise.

Thanks for offering up the sacred tie, and letting us at least dream that one day it might be ours.

No worries Garry thanks, I managed to procure a novelty tie elsewhere in the meantime.

Maybe this was a blessing in disguise. No rotary club shindigs for the foreseeable.

For some reason my posts aren't displaying but thanks for your message Garry. Have sent you a PM perhaps that will work.
