are there only 4 referees in the prem ?

for us to get him again roughly 6 weeks after we last had him seems strange

Theres only 17 select group refs and 1(Barry knight)is a long term injury.Of these we only have yet to get Steve Bennett,Mike Dean,Chris Foy,Mark Clattenburg and Martin Atkinson.
It does seem we get refs coming round quicker as in the champoinship and below theres many more national group refs totake games.
One of the joys of being in the elite.

Possibly should have sent orf Jussi Jaaskelainen in dying seconds and been a tad firmer on the cloggers heavy handed industrial crud but all in all a pretty good showing by all accounts.Good Wiley is back to royal winning ways.

Have to say apart from a few dodgy decisions at the end of the game Wiley had an excellent match.

Best refereeing performance of the season by far, not that there's been much contest!

Very good ref apart from the clear signs of Pie-abuse! Do these guys not get paid to train as well?

No way. Bolton should have had far more bookings for cynical fouls, such as when Seol was taken out in the second half when he could have gone clean through. Five minutes later the same thing happens with our player being taken out, except this time there are more covering defenders and this time a yellow is shown. Consistency?

Also, the law regarding preventing a goalscoring opportunity is a complete joke. Defenders are being sent off when strikers are diving and initiating contact, yet today when Hahnemann wants to release the ball so a Reading striker can have a shot at an empty net, the keeper punches the ball from him in cynical fashion. The latter is far worse a foul yet goes unpunished compared to the former, which is a complete farce.

Much better ref than Graham Poll. He was superb in fact - didn't notice him too much today and he didn't fall for any diving.

Overall I thought he had a pretty decent game, mostly because he didn't fall for 3 blatent dives from that oxf*rd Diof.

As for Kingsley, just classic :D :D

Best ref weve had at home all season...though he did tend to lose it a bit towards the end of the game.
