Reading Hall of Fame?

by Archie's penalty » 13 Sep 2009 12:50

I know this is an American idea and it's probably been discussed on here before but who would get into a Reading FC hall of fame?

In Baseball they 'retire' numbers. I'm not advocating that but is there anyway of getting a Reading Hall of Fame going?

There would have to be some rules - i.e certain number of games played, seasons played.

Any suggestions?

Mods feel free to move this to club policies if need be.

Do you think we could get something like this going?

I speak in all seriousness. I think it would be a cool thing to do...

Shaka, Quinn, Parky, Osborn for starters. I'd like to say Dylan Kerr, purely for Luton away.

If we're saying Kitson for 1st Prem goal, how about Brebner for first goal at the Madejski? And Michael O'Neill for last RFC goal at Elm Park

Trevor Morley - the only Reading player to score a penalty with his head.

I don't think you're getting the hang of this Floyd. It's not about one off actions (although I wouldn't mind seeing a video of it!).

Ok try 23 goals in the 96/97, 22 of them were penalties I think. Also the best cheat I have ever seen in RFC colours, he had diving down to an art form.
