Free Rail Tickets for Bristol (or any other FGW station)

by Forbury Lion » 18 Dec 2009 17:17

I have three First Great Western go anywhere weekend/bank holiday rail tickets valid for one return journey each (return date can be different to departure date). Valid until 31/12/09.

If anyone wishes to make a donation to charity then I would be willing to give them one of these tickets.

Short notice for anyone going to Bristol, but I've only just remembered I had these.

PM me.

I would more than likley be interested in 1 of these, and quite possibly all 3 of them. What restrictions are there on them?

Restrictions are - Weekends and bank holidays only, plus you have to fill in your start / end destination and departure/return dates before you use them.

I've used a few of them to get to London and my brother used one for a trip to Bristol earlier this year.

FGW Season ticket holders get them as a thankyou for renewing their season tickets so they've cost me nothing.

If Monday 28th December is a Bank Holiday - which I think it is - and if they're valid on trains to Plymouth then I'll definitely have them.

Dirk has first refusal on all three and has made a generous pledge to charity.

I've suffered enough this season going to home games! It was my intention to use a couple of these for away games but my heart wasn't in it and Brendan Rogers dismisal came too late for me to change my plans and catch the train to Bristol. Plus I did have these 3 tickets saved for a Commedy night out in London with some mates this month but it was cancelled.

I will scan the fixture list now to see what games I may be able to use next seasons freebie tickets for.
