Agree. Be amazed if Reading can get a point from either of the next two games. Peterborough only managed to beat Cambridge 6-1 at home today though, so might get a sniff there
Barnsley is a happy hunting ground for us we've not lost there in 14 visits I think. Peterborough will be tough though

We really need to move Craig into his DM position as I'm 100% sure he would do a better job than Wing!! Wing makes things tick at the top end of the pitch where he can dictate play and score his worldly goals
Having both Yids and Abrefra out is really hurting us so i really hope that young lad who came on today can do something.
Hopefully the two week break will be enough for Abrefa to get fit and allow Selles to tweak the balance a bit.

Dorsett being back does give us a boost. With both fit, I think there's a time and a place for Garcia starting at LB - away for most League One games is not the time or place. If he is to be a LB, he needs to improve physically - which will likely just happen as he gets a bit older anyway.
That said, he's a lot more athletic than Dorsett, so the situations where it does make sense for Garcia to start at LB could be if he's going to be up against a very athletic winger.
Garcia would be a decent option on the wing still. It wouldn't be the worst thing for him to play a few games for the U21s should he get the opportunity either.

Agree about Garcia playing further forward-I think he would create more than the mainly underwhelming trio of Akande, Campbell and Camara.
Having now seen Ahmed three times I am impressed.
His physical presence at only just 17 is useful in this division and IMHO he already looks a better option than the rarely-sighted Abrefa who I feel has yet to offer much.
The more I see of Bindon, the more I feel that he will be snapped up sooner rather than later and we can only hope that any money received will be put to good use and that the amount is what it should be.
For a defender who is quick enough and good on the ball I like it that he can also mix it with the bigger opposition , doesn't get bullied and is good in the air-a proper player .
Having said that, the prospect of the slow Dean and the erratic Mbengue fills me with terror and I would hope we have enough points to survive if Bindon were to go in the January window-obviously preference would be next Summer and it looks inevitable that he will go on to better things.
The best we have had since the days of Upson and Darius.

I think Bindon is out of contract in the summer, so we would only get any money for him in Jan.

Well let’s hope the arse does finally go in the next couple of months so there might be a chance of the new boys at least being able to put a new deal in front of Tyler this season.

Ahmed does look like one of the next players who’ll regularly be in the first team. If he’s given a bit more time to get comfortable to league football, I think he could be a long-term solution to our RB problem and free up Craig for DM.
IIRC, Abrefa has had injury problems which has prevented him from developing much beyond the ability he broke into the first team with. Even this season, it’s been disappointing to see him not get much of a go and Craig playing RB ahead of him. I’d imagine he’ll be off in the summer if he’s out of contract.
Hopefully we’ve got some sort of one year option on Bindon to at least ensure we’ll get money for him in the summer. Would be a disaster to lose him part way through the season and with little opportunity to replace him. Bindon seems like he’ll improve even more playing along side better defenders.

Came here to say this. From Reading fans it's ridiculous and we should know better.
Especially as we're still scrambling around iwth 10,000 fans at a home game in League One whilst some of our fans talk about how "massive" we are. Whilst Wrexham, Huddersfield and many others are getting more fans than us.

Agreed. We're "massive" in the sense that we've been in the Championship for most of the past thirty years or so. Our fan base isn't massively largely than most clubs in League One, it's just Stevenage are relatively new to the Football League and haven't built up a big fanbase yet.
In our last few Championship seasons, we had a below average home attendance. We've certainly grown as a club in the past thirty-odd years, but we're still probably an fairly average Championship side in terms of fanbase (possibly lower).

Largely getting around 12-13k when Pardew was managing in the third division so wouldn’t expect much different with another manager. Think 18-20k+ would only be achieved if the club was flying in the promotion places towards the business end of the season.

MK:Dons?
I'd call them an aberration.
I hate MK Dons as much as the next fan but everyone hates them so to support the most hated club in the lower divisions takes some nerve. What other club should a kid born and bred in MK support?
I think also, if you look at football history, it's not entirely unprecedented. Arsenal uprooted across London in 1913. Liverpool and Chelsea were both formed because another team moved and left the owners with an empty stadium.

As it is, the club is tainted and it holds them back in a place as populated as MK. It will take >50 years for people to forget how they came into existence, and true football fans in the area may well default to supporting a north London club or Watford/Luton.
Put it this way, if I had kids around where I currently live I'd give them a day out to see Bradford or Huddersfield (not Leeds). If I lived around Milton Keynes, there's no way I'd take them to see MK Dons.
