2nd half we were in total control, shown by the two Liams passing the ball between each other inside the centre circle. Coleman had obviously told them to stand off us inside our own half, which allowed us the time and space to build from the back. It seemed a bizarre thing to do, but I do think Coleman is going to come unstuck with Sunderland.....Anyway, all 3 goals were well worked. Barrow caused them no end of problems before slotting those two in. Vito was unlucky with the pen, which seemed very similar to the one Bacuna won at Bolton. Overall a great away day!

We played very well and Sunderland were pretty poor but a tidy side. I think they'll stay up with Coleman as manager.
On to us, I don't think the sending off changed the game as we were the better side when it was 11 vs 11.
MoM was between Barrow, Aluko and VdB. Kelly looks out of form

Barrow now has scored roughly 25% of his total shots. Hes a bit of a legend.
Keep up this form please.

Game against Cardiff will be a far better judge as to how good we really are. Though recent signs are promising.
MOM Edwards. Quietly effective.

Yes it’s great to see a Jaap team finally getting the chance to actually settle as a team.......however
he will not start with Bod will he?
Which I think is a bit of a shame in the current scheme of things.
Otherwise.....happy bunnies

Apparently a Sunderland supporter absolutely off his face (on probably more than just alcohol) decided to drop his trousers and have a shit. Right there in the stands. Although there is some debate as to whether it was a shit, or just a piss. Either way, there is photographic evidence (non-graphic) and eyewitness accounts, including one of a kid in the row in front vomiting everywhere when they saw it happen.

- VDB immense again. He is really coming into his own this season, although you do still fear he will make the occasional costly mistake in such an important role.
- Would keep Kermie up front for Cardiff since their defense is quite physical, but he is clearly still in recovery. Would like to see Bod start some games in December.
- Dave Edwards is looking like a great pickup and if we achieve anything this season then his goals from midfield and set pieces will be crucial. I was one of the people calling this signing a waste at the start of the season but he's been in great form.
- At this point I think it might be better for us not to sign a left back in January, as Gunter would move back to RB. Bacuna is much more positive and it's paying off.
-I'm still bloody annoyed that we didn't score against that shit Wednesday side, who were far worse than Sunderland.
Onwards and upwards

Kelly too slow on the ball, count his touches/the seconds before he releases it compared to Edwards or JVDB and it’s not like he then plays a better more complex ball.
Good cross for the second, though.

Given the quality of those chance that really should be upwards of 33%
Having said that I really like Barrow and he's one of the players that make us tick. It's no coincidence that our form has picked up as he's returned and got back to fitness and without his and Bacuna"s injuries we'd be a lot further up the table than we are

Agree. Imo the turning point of our season was him getting injured vs Brizzle. We were doing just fine until then
And since he has got fully fit we have been good again
Great signing and hopefully here for years to come
