6th win in 6, can't complain! But for the first 35 minutes we were pretty poor - Millwall's movement and quick one-two passing didn't really suit our stand-off style. Their goal was extremely well worked, ball in behind the defence and a simple finish.
We started to come back into it, pressured them more and the goal came from HRK - what a finish. Nailed his volley into the top corner. 2nd goal for us was controversial... remember Hull a few weeks back? Well, that's karma right there - Le Fondre clearly offside but didn't interfere with play, Millwall stopped and Roberts ran onto it to square for ALF. Cue pandemonium.
Never really looked like losing after that, Millwall played some absolutely atrocious football including one drop-ball back to the keeper which their right-back managed to tw*t out for a throw-in barely 5 yards from him :lol:
MOTM: Karacan, probably. Another solid performance, gave everything and got a standing ovation for his mazy run in the last minute. I thought Tabb looked excellent when he came on at half time, won a few headers :shock: and made a few crunching challenges. Roberts also held the ball up well.

Great day out. Dire first half. Loved the second half. Jason Roberts was my MOTM, we really needed that physical presence after Long went and he's doing us proud. Loved how wound up he got the Millwall fans, and the players in the last 20 mins or so. Class touch from ALF for the goal, he so easily could have put that past the post.
Great support. Loved the noise at London Bridge on the way back.

Brilliant away day! Could not fault it Food in Borough Market and drinks in George beforehand. Walk from train to ground was superb atmosphere. In ground even better. Football dire and Legs really off the pace worse game for long time. But going behind just set the scene. Magnificent strike from Hal levelled things up before the break.
Second half we looked secure and pressure told. Alf looked sharp when he came on and fully deserved his goal.
Crowd gets my Man of the Match fantastic.

Promotion-chasing Reading made it six successive wins as substitute Adam Le Fondre's second-half goal gave them victory at Millwall. The Royals were trailing at the Den after Harry Kane lofted a pass over the defence for Andy Keogh to finish. But in first-half stoppage time Hal Robson-Kanu volleyed the Royals level from a corner. Le Fondre completed the comeback when he tucked in Jason Roberts' cross at the far post.

The win continues Reading's charge up the Championship table and leaves them just a point behind second-placed West Ham, having played a game more. However, despite their recent form, Brian McDermott's men were out of sorts for much of the first half. They were punished by Keogh's 15th minute goal - the first the Royals have conceded in 490 minutes and only Millwall's second at home in the league this year. However, late in the half they were given a lifeline as home keeper David Forde's punch from a corner fell to Robson-Kanu and he thumped a superb volley high into the net. Millwall could have regained the lead but Kane missed James Henry's cross with the goal gaping. The Lions paid for the miss with 15 minutes to go when Roberts broke the offside trap and laid the ball into the path of Le Fondre who made no mistake at the back post.
