We had one chance all game that Swift hit over the top. We offered very little.

Nothing stuck upfront. All three useless. Swift and Ejaria didn’t get into it. Once Adam departed we were looking for 0-0. Their pressure paid off. Goal was just one of those that fell kindly in the box. Second goal a break after Puscas screwed up but the game was already pretty much done. Disappointing after Fulham. Missed Joao!!

Yes I agree we were horribly outplayed. Thought pele was ok for once so yes I was surprised by that too. Everyone just a bit slower and ejaria and swift didn't show their quality like we are used to. Rafael not to blame and made some good saves. We offered nothing going forward.

Pele good for once? He's been quality for the last 8 games or so.

Baldock and Swift had two massive chances to put us ahead. Very little for the fans to get excited about.
Biggest cheer of the day was for the two Reading kids who put a shift in to win the relay race at half time!!

Meite for me was particularly poor, but I guess it’s academic to point him out when no one else was particularly good....but I have....
Raphael and the back four were ‘ok’, everything in front of them looked as if they had been on the piss the night before...*shrugs*.
Thought their home support were pretty non-existent tbh, all in on a bang average day.

Millwall were closing us down so quickly, and we weren't going to win any long balls against their massive players. So it was obvious we would need to pass the ball quickly around their press. But what did we do? Receive the ball, stand still and wait for Millwall to close us down, and then try to dribble it around 3 players from a standing start. It was men against boys at points.
Rafael - 6
Blackett - 2 normal service has resumed, better rip up that contract offer
Moore - 6 coped with Smith well
Morrison - 6 ditto
Gunter - 5 ineffectual
Pele - 4 lots of mistakes
Swift - 5 too slow
Adam - 6 only player up for it
Ejaria - 5 not a game for fancy tricks
Meite - 4 another poor performance, time to look at other options
Baldock - 5 wrong choice against their massive defenders
Puscas - 4 mistake led to their second goal
Obita - 5
McCleary - 5
I'd line up like this for the next game -
----------------- Rafael
Yiadom Moore Morrison Obita
----------------- Pele
------ Adam --------- Ejaria
---------------- Swift
---------Puscas Baldock
Forget wide players, we don't have the quality
