Post Match Fans' Opinion
Well it was a nice day out in sunny Blackpool spoiled by the result. You could see it coming but the goal was like comedy slapstick, a misplaced pass then Bridge, Morrison and Pearce fall over like skittles in sequence. We totally threw the game away because we were clearly the better team but couldn't break them down, although pretty well everything we did in the final third was dire. We need more ideas upfront.
For a home team, Blackpool had everyone behind the ball and looked to hit us on the break or nick something from a set piece. I bet they couldn't believe their luck the way we gifted them the goal.
Despite all our play we had no edge and very few chance except for a short spell at the end of the first half. Few players stood out except maybe Bridge who apart from getting tackled and falling over for the goal had a pretty good game.
Highlights were Old Speckled Hen at £1.79 a pint and a pint giant hot dog and chips for just over £4.

Quotes From The Press
The visitors rallied at the end of the first half and could have gone into the break 1-0 up. Drenthe found the unmarked Karacan with a free-kick on 43 minutes, but his left-foot volley was cleared by Gary Mackenzie, before the former Real Madrid man tested Gilks with a curling free-kick from 20 yards.
Moments before half-time, Karacan struck the bar with a lofted effort from the edge of the box after Bobby Grant cleared a corner straight to his feet.
Nigel Adkins brought on Le Fondre for Garath McCleary on 57 minutes and, but for the bravery of Gilks, the substitute would have opened the scoring with a close-range effort following Drenthe's mazy run and cross.
The deadlock was finally broken when 20-year-old Barkhuizen broke with the ball 20 yards out, sidestepped two defenders and netted the winner.
Reading boss Nigel Adkins:
"We made a mistake at the back for their goal and fair play to the Blackpool player for taking advantage of that but we've got to be doing better in that situation. We wanted a clean sheet and there's no reason that we shouldn't have done that. It was a poor goal to give away, but from my point of view we should've done better. We had possession and should've kept it."
