Darren Caskey gave Reading the lead just before half time after Nicky Forster did all the hard work, and Caskey volleyed in from the edge of the six yard box. A solid second half defensive performance from the Royals kept us ahead until the last minute of the game when Bury player-manager Andy Preece stuck one in to share the points.

Post Match Opinions

Fantastic, brilliant, the best this season. I am of course talking about the chicken balti pies they sell at Bury, definately the highlight of the day.
Typical end of season, nothing to play for type of game, which we should have won.
Caskey scored with a thumping volley after a brilliantly controlled Forster header, set him up. After that we were in cruise control and should have gone on to win easily. Neil Smith managed to spoon the ball over the bar from 5 yards out, and then in the last minute they score from a speculative shot from 30 yards, bollox. Forster played like it was the cup final, that bloke is one of the best players I have ever seen wear the famous hoops, I still can't believe he plays for us.
Apart from the pie and Forster then, not much else to cheer for the 150 most loyal of Royals, but I'm not complaining, this time next season.............
