Post Match Fans' Opinion
Just got home. Another top top away game to add to the list.
First 30 minutes we were excellent. Attacked with purpose and kept the ball well. I knew that the Mcleary miss was going to be pivotal and indeed it was as back they came.
20 mins of that second half was carnage. I actually don't know what happened but we we're getting ripped apart. They should of got the 3rd and we'd be in big trouble.
Gunter sending off was ridiculous. I was fuming with referees performance. First yellow card was scandalous. Adkins called the subs well and Pog coming off was the right thing as a second booking was coming his way.
Williams man of the match. Top performance. Too energy and showed what he offered instead of Baird who I don't think we will see again in a Reading shirt.

The game was amazing. Loved it, and that's why I endure game after game - for those nights. At 2 nil I was worried as it was early to take the lead. At 2-2 I was surprisingly up beat but nervous every time they got the ball. 3-2: mental celebration and amazing performance. Never gave up and it was the best game this season for me anyway
Atmosphere in away end was amazing, one of the best in the last year or two. Everyone standing, constant singing and great support. Loved the players coming over at the end - showed how delighted they were.

Quotes From The Press
Jordan Obita crushed a Nottingham Forest fightback as 10-man Reading ended a four-game winless streak with a thrilling 3-2 victory at the City Ground. Pavel Pogrebnyak and Kaspars Gorkss put the Royals 2-0 up inside the opening 12 minutes but Simon Cox and the substitute Darius Henderson clawed Forest level before Obita's decisive late strike. Reading ended the game with 10 men as their former Forest defender Chris Gunter was sent off but Nigel Adkins' side held on.
Adkins was full of praise for Obita. "That was his first goal for us. He's been at the club since he was eight and he's been doing ever so well. It was a great goal. I've given him a run in the team and he's done ever so well. You have to be bold and play these young players like Jordan and Jake Taylor."
The far more experienced Garath McCleary, another former Forest player, set up the Reading opener after nine minutes as he skipped past the challenge of Dan Harding before whipping a low centre across the area, where Pogrebnyak bundled the ball home at the far post.
The visitors increased their lead from a 12th-minute corner, as the centre-back Gorkss met Danny Guthrie's cross with a powerful header to stun the home crowd into silence...
After being outplayed for much of the half Reading silenced the Forest fans again by reclaiming the lead in the 74th minute as they finally mustered a meaningful attack and Obita scored from 12 yards following another McCleary assist.
Forest were given some encouragement with 10 minutes left when Gunter was shown a second yellow card for tripping Mackie on the edge of the box. "I really don't understand that decision," Adkins said, "but it just showed the character of our team and we managed to see the game out."
