The 2013/2014 fixtures for Reading's new season in the Championship have been released this morning. The Championship season kicks-off on 3 August 2013 and runs until 3 May 2014.
Reading will start the season with a home game against Ipswich Town, followed by a trip to Bolton Wanderers the week after. The Royals are lucky enough to both start and finish the season with games at the Madejski Stadium - our final game sees the visit of Burnley on 3 May 2014.
Former Reading boss Brian McDermott will make a return to the Madejski Stadium with his Leeds United side for an evening game on Tuesday 17 September. The return fixture is also a mid-week evening in March. The festive period sees Reading face a tough away game at Leicester City on Boxing Day followed by a trip to Middlesbrough three days later - a lot of traveling for Reading's away fans. Nottingham Forest visit Reading on New Years Day.
