Reading have produced some ammunition this week for the club versus country debate this week. However instead of discussion on if you should put your support into Reading FC or England,
it's because the club have confirmed that they will play a friendly against the Oman full international team.
The Royals will face Oman at the Madejski Stadium in the middle of the International break, on Saturday 7 September. With a number of Reading players on international duty
expect a mixture of Reading reserves and a few first team players to do battle
in what might be a mildly interesting friendly fixture.
Oman are currently 95th in the FIFA world rankings, which puts them well above Northern Ireland.
Oman failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup but did manage two draws against Australia in their qualifying group where they finished above Iraq and second to bottom of the table.
Adult tickets will be available at ten pounds with concessions priced at five pounds.
