Thanks to Reading's run to the quarter finals of the FA Cup, we face a packed fixture list as the season approaches the finishing straight. The Royals will have to play at least 9 games over the next 30 days - meaning we are playing a game every Tuesday and Saturday until 21 March.
The home fixture against Brighton has been moved to Tuesday 10 March to make way for Reading traveling to Bradford City on Saturday 7 March in the FA Cup. Fans who are not making the journey to Bradford will be able to watch that game live on BT Sport for free. However, fans who are making the trip fancy a very difficult journey to try and get to Bradford for the 12:45pm kick-off. This Saturday should also cause some headaches for Reading fans who were looking to take the train to Ipswich - there are major engineering works planned.
It's going to be a tough time for Reading's away fans with Tuesday nights coming up at Huddersfield Town and Bolton Wanderers. Those away games are immediately followed by a battle to get to Bradford. Of course Reading's fixture congestion could get worse if they win or draw at Bradford and additional FA Cup games need to be squeezed into the already packed schedule. As the games come thick and fast Reading desperately need to pick up some league points to prevent getting dragged into a relegation battle, as well as trying to get to the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in 88 years.
