End Of Season Awards 2011/2012
Last season was the first time in 13 years of on-line voting we had a double winner with Shane Long picking up the Player of the Season and Most Improved Player titles. History has repeated itself right away this year with Alex Pearce picking up both awards. Pearce had a stunning season being the rock in the centre of a Reading team with a incredible defensive record. Voting was tight for Player of the Season but Pearce was a runaway winner for Most Improved Player.
Votes were collected between during June and July 2012.
All result figures are expressed as percentages of the total vote.

Kaspars Gorkss transformed the team on his arrival and finished just 6% behind winner Alex Pearce. There was a tight spread at the top with four players close to the title. Jem Karacan and Adam Federici both picked up plenty of votes after impressive performances all season.

Best Reading FC Performance 2011/2012
The season turned from maybe into definite on the back of two season changing performances on the home straight. The vote was split closely between those two amazing away victories as Reading won both battles of the top three to move towards securing the top spot. Happy days.
Worst Reading FC Performance 2011/2012
2011/2012 was a great season - but the Royals got off to a dodgy start. It's no suprise that three of the top four worst performances of the season came in the opening weeks of the season. The FA Cup exit against Stevenage was a season low point and that finishes second to the ultimate worst performance - the 0-2 home defeat against Watford.
Next Season 2012/2013 - Where will Reading FC Finish?
At this stage last season, nearly half of Hob Nob Anyone? readers voted that Reading would finish midtable. Just 9% voted that Reading would get automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League. This time around the big majority vote is that Reading will be safe - just. Only 10% think the Royals will get relegated, and just 2% think Reading will finish in the top two.
