Travel, Food and Beer. |
Blackpool Football Club Travelling by car you'll find plenty of parking at the ground - with space for 3,000 cars. There's also street parking surrounding the ground which means you shouldn't have a problem finding a spot to park. If you're going to Blackpool on the train then make sure you get off at Blackpool South station which is just five minutes walk from the ground. Blackpool North is two miles away. Full directions to Bloomfield Road, and plenty of other details can be
found at the following address: As Blackpool is a famous coastal resort you won't be suprised to learn there's thousands of take aways and placed to eat and drink near the ground. The unofficial website claims Blackpool has 2,500 licensed premises - so it certainly won't be a problem finding beer. Blackpool is of course the ideal place for a weekend away - especially
with the Royals making the trip to the "resort" in the middle
of August. The Wimbourne hotel have declared themselves a Reading fan
friendly place to stay for the weekend:

Reading wins: 10 Last season the Royals were a Division above Blackpool. However, we met them in Division Two in both the previous seasons with a complete share of the points, and goals, over the four fixtures. Reading will be looking to repeat the 2-0 victory of the 1999/2000 season at their place: 1999/2000 Season: 1998/1999 Season: |

Predictions | After the disappointment of last season we need the right start to the
season. We also need to win away at teams like Blackpool if we're to get
automatic promotion. However, we always have poor starts to the season and
Blackpool should be feeling good after last season's play-off success that
saw them promoted from Division Three. Has to be a draw then. What do you think? Enter your Prediction now! |
Opposition Site | Seasiders.net Definately the best Blackpool website, and totally unofficial. Nice. Did come up with some strange Javascript errors on my visit though. http://www.blackpool.net/bfc/ |
