Thankfully Reading have beaten Swindon Town overall with 36 wins through
the years - positively loads more than Swindon Town's probably very lucky

Well so much for my Brighton preview, this result has really made
tomorrow nights game one which Reading need to avoid loosing at all costs.
There seems to be very little positive to say about our performance according
to the radio commentary and eye witness accounts of the 3-1 dusting down,
handed out by Brighton. Like most premiership sides who come a cropper
against third division and non league teams its probably best to blame
the pitch and conditions, not that Brighton play like a non league side.
They are obviously our main threat, anyway no such excuse will be available
at the county ground and Reading really must restore that confident passing
football they displayed around Xmas. Parky is back and after a rest! hopefully
he will be revved up and ready to go, Gamble could provide the missing
ingredient to Readings slump in form as it was evident against Notts County
that we were short on invention and the players had started to provide
less in the way of options which needs a passing player to bring back
the movement with some telling balls. Reading have problems at the back
and the management really have their work cut out for this one. Come on
Reading, another unbeaten run please! |
