Pubs:
Closest to the ground is a pub called The Hour Glass. The only problem is it's unlikely they'll let Reading fans in there for this game. Failing that you can try The Half Moon which is about a mile and a half from Adams Park on Dashwood Avenue. For further details check out the Chairboys On The Net - an unofficial site with a full pub guide:

By Car:
The ground is about two miles out of High Wycombe town centre, and the traffic always seems to be a nightmare getting to Adams Park over the past few seasons - so allow plenty of time for what is a very short away trip. There's street parking available close to the ground, although you may have to walk 10 minutes after parking your car.

By Train:
The nearest station is High Wycombe station which is a hefty walk from the ground. The best bet is to get the number 300 football special bus from the Station which leaves at 13:55 or get a taxi for about a fiver. Trains to Wycombe aren't really that great though - so it might be worth considering another option to get to Wycombe.

Previous Meetings

With Wycombe Wanderers being non-league until recent history, there's not much competitive history between the two clubs. However, Reading fans will be pleased to know that Reading have won six of our ten encounters in the league and the cups. Our only FA Cup meeting came back in the 1976/1977 season - with Reading 2-1 winners at Wycombe's place. In the League Cup Wycombe put us out over two legs in the 1996/1997 season.
Reading wins: 6
Draws: 2
Wycombe Wanderers wins: 2
Figures include League, FA Cup, and League Cup only.

Our league meetings over the past three and a half season have seen five wins for the Royals and a single win for Wycombe Wanderers - who can forget out 3-5 stuffing at Adams Park two seasons ago? Last season we beat Wycombe at home but needed a late Igoe goal to secure a point at their place. Earlier this season we dispatched Wycombe two-nil at home thanks to goals from Williams and Henderson.
