Mate
No way will Terry Bullivant leave Elm Park, no really, I'm tellin' ya; he's dedicated see? I've known him for years, he's a mate, decent bloke. Once he starts a job he sticks to it an' sees it through to the end, not like Quinn and Gooding, rubbish they was. You see - he'll be manager for years! Oh very kind mate, yeah - I'll 'ave a pint, cheers!
Bastard
What! He's gone? Bastard! Course I knew he would. He's a Cockney see? Basically untrustworthy yer Cockney. Well known fact that is. Not that I ever 'ad much to do with Bullivant, never liked 'im. Tell you what, we should never have got rid of Jimmy and Mick. Smashin' blokes they was, smashin', probably somethin' to do with 'em both bein' Scotch, marvellous people the Scotch.
Drink?
Yeah, I've 'eard a few whispers about who's takin' over. It's a bit hush hush though oh yeah, a drink might help, I'll 'ave a whiskey - large one, cheers. Well, I reckon it's gonna be Brian Little. Or Nigel Spackman, or Terry Venables, or Rudd Gullitt. But that information was given in confidence, so don't spread it 'round mate, OK?
Last Orders
Course, the bloke we should have is that Scotch bloke, Tommy Burns. He'd be great 'im, but e'll never come to Reading; take it from someone who knows. 'Ere, if you hurry you can get another round in. Cheers!
